What about my Walls?

We are careful, but you should expect to touch up paint on walls & baseboards after the installation. Carpet backing will scuff/scratch, especially dark colors & recently painted walls.

Will the Seam Show?

Some carpets & light conditions hide seams better than others. We focus on Professional installation Teams that follow our well planned job layout reducing seam concerns.

Children & Pets

We love them both! The tools and supplies used during installation are dangerous and scary to pets. That’s why we ask you to keep kids and pets out of the installation area.

TV’s & Computers?

You need to move all computer, TV’s, cable, network, and audio/video hookups prior to arrival.

MOVE ALL ELECTRONICS


Floor Squeaks-Cutting Doors

We can eliminate most squeaks and trim most doors. These services are available at an additional cost. Often we will not know if your door will clear until the installation is complete.

Clean my Entire Closet?

There are two closet systems. Wall mounted-Clean up to 4 feet. Support Pole Touches Carpet- Clean everything off entire closet system.

Transitions from carpet to other flooring varies on what has been done before and availability of transition pieces. Discuss these options with the estimator.

Bi-Fold Doors

Closet doors are notorious for not going back to their original state. We make every effort to reset closet doors, but you are responsible to make final adjustments.

Water & Gas

We recommend hiring a professional plumber to connect any appliances involving water & gas. We will not connect or disconnect gas appliances. All water connections are homeowner’s responsibility.

Work to Be Done Prior to Installation

Installation teams are paid a minimal amount to assist in moving furniture.

  • This typically is 3-5 pieces of furniture per room.
  • Move all small items, books, lamps, breakables, pictures & plants.
  • Clean out closets according to type of closet you have (see box above).
  • Clean out bookshelves, china cabinets, entertainment centers &under beds.
  • Clean off beds and pull sheets & blankets the morning of installation.
  • Special furniture will be discussed & extra charges may apply.
  • Vacuum old carpet prior to removal to minimize dust during installation areas.
  • Heat/Air must be operational and set to normal living conditions.
