VINYL FLOOR EXPERTS IN ELIZABETHTOWN, KY

There's no need to feel overwhelmed when shopping for new vinyl floors. Our vinyl flooring experts can help you learn some of the common terms that will make the process easier!

Luxury Vinyl Plank

Long, narrow planks of vinyl that are thicker and more rigid than sheet vinyl, which helps make them more durable and scratch-resistant.

Luxury Vinyl Tile

Engineered to mimic stone, porcelain, or ceramic tile, constructed with a thick vinyl layer that makes it more durable and rigid than sheet vinyl.

Sheet Vinyl

Traditional form of vinyl flooring that comes in large, continuous rolls. Inherently water-impervious, resilient, easy to install, and inexpensive.

Floating Installation

Planks click together with patented locking systems, do not need to be glued to the underlayment or subfloor, and can often be installed over existing flooring.

Glue Down Installation

Uses adhesive to glue the vinyl flooring to the subfloor and creates dimensional stability that ensures the flooring stays structurally sound in heavy traffic.

Underlayment

Padding or cushion under the vinyl floor that adds benefits including noise reduction, moisture barrier, mold inhibitor, greater comfort, and longer performance.

Waterproof Luxury Vinyl

Features locking mechanisms engineered to lock out topical water penetration at the joints, will not allow water to permeate through from the top or bottom surface.

Wear Layer

High-quality polyurethane layer often made with aluminum oxide or ceramic bead technology that offers surface protection. The thicker the wear layer, the more durable the floor.

Aluminum Oxide

Chemical reinforced top wear layer of vinyl flooring that increases durability against abrasion, such as scratches and scuffs.

Decorative Layer

This printed layer underneath the wear layer showcases the realistic design such as hardwood, natural stone, and patterned visuals.

Wood Plastic Composite

WPC flooring is a subcategory of luxury vinyl floor that features a 100% waterproof core and can be installed over most subfloors with minimal prep work.

Solid Polymer Core

Also called stone polymer core, SPC waterproof construction is comprised of limestone, polyvinyl chloride, and plasticizers for greater stability and dent resistance.
